Hello, I'm Laura Ryan

I'm a physiotherapist with a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation and dizziness conditions. I work with people experiencing vertigo, persistent dizziness, concussion-related symptoms, vestibular migraine and balance problems.

Dizziness can feel confusing and sometimes frightening. My approach centres on clear explanations, thorough assessment and evidence-based rehabilitation so you understand what's happening and feel confident in your recovery.

My goal is to help you return to the activities you love with steadiness and confidence.

What kind of dizziness do you have?

Vertigo

A spinning or rotational sensation, often caused by inner ear disorders such as BPPV. Can be brief or prolonged depending on the cause.

Balance Problems

Feeling unsteady while standing or walking, caused by vestibular, neurological or sensory system changes.

Persistent Dizziness

Ongoing dizziness following vestibular illness, concussion or migraine sometimes lasting months without clear answers.

BPPV

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo brief spinning triggered by head movement, often resolved with specialised repositioning manoeuvres.

Vestibular Disorders

Including vestibular neuritis and vestibular hypofunction. Treated through targeted vestibular rehabilitation exercises.

Concussion Dizziness

Vestibular symptoms are common after concussion. Rehabilitation restores eye-head coordination and balance.

Vestibular Migraine

Dizziness or vertigo associated with migraine, treated to reduce symptoms and improve tolerance to motion.

Cervicogenic Dizziness

Dizziness arising from the cervical spine, addressed through neck mobility, sensorimotor control and balance rehabilitation.

PPPD

Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness long-lasting dizziness and motion sensitivity following an initial vestibular event.

You can attend via self-referral or through a referral from your GP or healthcare professional no referral is required to book.

Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans can be used for physiotherapy services when arranged by your GP. Speak with your GP if you believe you may be eligible.
